| Overlijdensbericht | Leona V. Kuhns, 87, of Whitehall, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2023, in the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Roy E. Kuhns. Leona was born in Hazleton, PA, a daughter of the late William and Verna (Green) VanBlargan. Leona was a sales associate for Avon Cosmetics for over 50 years. She was the most senior associate in the region. Leona was a member of the Avon President's Club. She was an active member of the former St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, Allentown and was currently a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Allentown. Leona was a dedicated mother and caregiver of her daughter Sharon for over 50 years, who passed away in October of 2022.
Survivors: Sons, Gary C. Kuhns of Coplay, Dennis R. Kuhns and his wife Stacey of Exton; grandchildren, Jenny Huegel, Ryan Kuhns and Tyler Kuhns; great-grandson, Dylan Huegel. She was predeceased by her daughter, Sharon Kuhns, granddaughter Laura Kuhns and her siblings Wilmer, Herbert and William VanBlargan, Dorothy Coombs and Nancy Hoffman.
Services: 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, August 16th at the Stephens Funeral Home, Inc. 274 North Krocks Road, Allentown. Friends and family may call from 10:30 – 11:30 A.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Grandview Cemetery, Allentown.
