Overlijdensbericht | Daniel "Dan Van" Van Blaricom, 59, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at his home in Caldwell, Idaho on July 14, 2018. He was born December 11, 1958 in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Since childhood Dan had a special place in his heart for animals. A true adventurer, he took on all challenges that led him from Idaho to Montana to Georgia and back to Idaho where he settled with his wife, Brenda, and raised a family. He enjoyed taking care of his home and acreage, spending time with his children, building race cars and watching his son race at Firebird Raceway- as well as traveling to and filming dance competitions with his daughter. His greatest love was sharing his passion of hunting and fishing in the outdoors with his family. Dan will be remembered as a selfless husband, father, son, brother, and friend who always had a smile, joke, or a story. He had a quiet strength and he never complained, always sacrificing his needs for the good of the family. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Brenda, his daughter Katherine (Van Blaricom) Estep and husband Dylan, and his son Tyler Van Blaricom and wife Faith. He is also survived by his Mother and Father, James and Velma Van Blaricom, and sister Kelly (Randy) Miller. Nieces, Danielle (Kevin) Hippert, Jamie Van Blaricom, Savanna (Jerry) Griffin, Salina (Adam) Huett, and numerous great nieces and nephews. Dan was preceded in death by his brother, David J. Van Blaricom. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Van Blaricom Residence on August 4, 2018 at 5PM.
