| Overlijdensbericht | DAVISON, Thomas A., age 70, passed away to be with the Lord and Savior on Friday, July 11, 2014, at The Willows in Winchester, Tennessee, following an extended illness.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio, he was born on April 28, 1944. He was a former United States Navel Medic assigned to the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam era. Tommy graduated from Franklin County High School in 1962 and graduated from the United States Naval Aviation Medics School in 1965. He attended Middle Tennessee State University during the early 1970’s. He is a lifelong member of the Winchester Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jeannie VanBlaricum Davison; father, Dr. R.H. Davison; mother, Joan Crawford Davison; and stepdaughter, Angela Warren Dixon. He is survived by his daughters, Shelly Davison Fleming of Jacksonville, Fla., Kimberly Davison Hedges and husband, Jason of Flagler Beach, Fla. and Crystal Dawn Davison of Oxford, Ohio; sons, Dustin Davison and Ryan Davison both of Alden, N.Y.; step-son, Jerry B. Warren, Jr. and wife Kristin; and granddaughter, Simonne Warren of Dallas, Texas. Also surviving are his brothers, Glenn Davison, and wife Sheila McGrath Davison of Murphy, Texas, Chris Davison, and wife, Allene Sells Davison of Winchester and Steve Davison of Tullahoma; and his only sister, Dottie Davison-Morris, and husband, Dwight “Rockne” Morris of Sewanee. Mr. Davison is also survived by two grandsons, Alex Fleming of Jacksonville, Fla., and Luke Hedges of Flagler Beach, Fla., and granddaughter, Jessica Longacre of Anaheim, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews. His zest for life, gentle spirit and sweet soul will be greatly missed by the people who knew of him as "BREEZE".
Visitation with the family will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2014, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Watson-North Funeral Home in Winchester. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 4 p.m. from the chapel of Watson-North Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Pittenger officiating.
