Overlijdensbericht | Stanley J. VanBlarcom, 70, of Bronson, passed away on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Community Health Center of Branch County. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 12 p.m. at the Church of Christ at Bronson with Evangelist Mike Roberts officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the Church of Christ at Bronson. Stanley was born March 14, 1945 to George E. and Genevieve L. (Burns) VanBlarcom in Coldwater. After graduating from Coldwater High School he married Camilla "Pepper" Moffett on December 12, 1964 in Bronson. Stanley worked for Quality Springs in Coldwater from 1964 until 2008 as a spring maker, tool and die maker and he ended his career their as a supervisor in the tool room. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Bronson, Coldwater Moose and was a board member of the Branch County Airport. He enjoyed golfing, fly fishing, boating, water skiing, bowling, scuba diving, go cart racing, photography, riding his motorcycle and flying as he was a pilot. Stanley is survived by his wife of 51 years Camilla "Pepper"; his children, Jo Starr of Bronson and Michael VanBlarcom of Coldwater; his grandchildren, Rachel VanBlarcom, Tylar VanBlarcom, Charlotte Lewis, Amanda (Josh) Moore and Alex J. VanBlarcom;his great grandchildren, Jason and Chaz Greenfield and Andrew J. Redifer; his sisters, Joan Twite of Coldwater and Jean (Leroy) Plettner of Coldwater; his brother, Jerry (Letha) VanBlarcom of Coldwater. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Lynwood VanBlarcom. Memorials may be directed to the Church of Christ at Bronson or the Branch County Flying Club Scholarship Fund.
