Overlijdensbericht | VAN BLARCOM (HAWKINGS, FALING), ELIZABETH LUCYLE - 86, of Jackson, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 31, 2011. She was the daughter of Joseph Stacy and Geraldine A. (Waite) Hawkings, born August 9, 1925 on the family's farm in Liberty Township where she resided with her family. Elizabeth leaves behind three daughters, Linda Berg (Howard Schmit), Carla (Paul) Keller, and Elizabeth "Chip" (Daniel) Pomeroy; five grandchildren, Gary Berg, James Berg, Kiel Keller, Daniel S. Pomeroy II, and Stacy C. Pomeroy; eight great-grandchildren; many others that knew her as mom and grandma. She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents, Andrew and Lucy (Choate) Hawkings, Wrae and Elizabeth (Lizzie) Waite; son, Robert Stacy VanBlarcom; grandson, Andrew Wrae VanBlarcom; great-grandson, Stefan Berg; son-in-law, Kenneth S. Berg; uncle, Murray Hawkings. Elizabeth moved to Alaska in 1959 with her former husband, Carl J. VanBlarcom and her children. She was an amazing woman who loved her family, Alaska, farm life, and the great outdoors. She took life in stride, and always found humor in all situations, even when she lost a home to a fire, and later a flood. A celebration of her life will be held at South Jackson Cemetery, Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. The family would like to give a special thank you to Doctors Malcolm Trimble and John Axelson and their staff for all the wonderful care, and to Doctors and staff of CareLink for the loving care you provided. Overlijdensbericht | Mary Vivian VanBlarcom, Jan 20, 1939 - Jan 4, 2021. Born in Tonopah, NV and raised in Lovelock, NV, Mary lived a full and eventful life. Married Kneeland Giusti and had the first 6 of her amazing children. She later moved to Alaska where she met and married Carl, having another 3 amazing bundles of joy. In the 90's, after her husband passed, she moved to Elko where her Mom and sister lived. She lived the rest of her life there when she wasn't traveling and on the go to somewhere. She will be missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Carl VanBlarcom, Mom/Dad, Edna and Mike Rasley, Sister Bonnie Boehler, Brother Junior Pfeifer, Son Kerry Giusti. She is survived by her brother-in-law: Sam Boehler and nephew Tim(Lisa) Cress. SONS: Lee Giusti, Dan(Lark) VanBlarcom, John Carl(Randi) VanBlarcom. DAUGHTERS: Doris Giusti, Marla Giusti, Lisa(Ralph) Wineland, Lori(Dana) Lynch, Alyce(Larry) Jueden. GRANDCHILDREN: Kari, Brandon, Ashley, Brianna, Nicholas, Morgan, Kenli, Samantha, Daisy, Carl, Jazmine, Stephan, Laurae, Anna, Michael along with numerous great grandchildren.
