Overlijdensbericht | Mildred (Muersch) VanBlarcom, 94, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, in the care of her family, Hospice and the Courville in Manchester, N.H. She was born in Wood Ridge, N.J., on June 23, 1921. She was the daughter of Martha (Egloff) and Frederick Muersch and was the wife of the late Murrell VanBlarcom. They were married for 53 years and resided in New Bern for 25 years where she was an active member of the Garber Methodist Church and Power Squadron. Mildred retired from the New York State school system in 1979 where she worked in the Baldwinsville, N.Y., school district office. While in Baldwinsville, N.Y., she was very active in the Baldwinsville Methodist church, especially in youth programs. She is survived by two daughters, Joan Nixon of Bedford, N.H., and Carolyn (William) Swift of Amherst, N.H.; and two sons, Douglas VanBlarcom of Milford, N.H.; and Fred VanBlarcom of Powell, Ohio; and four grandchildren. Burial will be in the spring at Musconetcong Cemetery, Hampton, N.J.Union Leader, October 30, 2015 |
