| Obituary | Dr. Dale V. Sweet, 52, formerly a professor at Michigan State university, died Tuesday at Marlboro, Mass.
Dr. Sweet was professor of horticulture at the University of Massachusetts. He was a former professor at Texas A. & M., Georgia university and was with M. S. U. in 1956. He was a member of the Christian church of Lansing.
Surviving are the widow, Marie; one daughter, Mrs. William Haskins of Haslett; two sisters, Mrs. Velma Tomblinson and Miss Bertha Sweet, both of Richmond, Mich., and three grandchildren.
