| | Obituary | ---Daniel S. Van Blarcum of Tekonsha, a former resident of this city, died Sunday afternoon about 12:30. Mr. Van Blarcum was about 60 years old and was well known throughout the county. His death resulted from a wound received in March 1863 when he was serving in the 19th Michigan Infantry. He had been entirely helpless for several years and was not even able to feed himself. His remains were brought here this afternoon and interment made in Oakridge.
