| Obituary | Virginia B. VanBlargan, 78, of Hazleton, passed away Thursday at her home.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William and Rosa Hammaker. When living in Philadelphia, she had been employed at Sears-Roebuck, and later became a housewife.
Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Donald VanBlargan Sr.; and brothers, Ronald and Richard Hammaker. Surviving are a son, Donald VanBlargan Jr. and wife, Debra, Kelayres; brothers, Robert Hammaker and wife, Dolores, Chadsford; William Hammaker, California; grandchildren, Bradley, Eric and wife, Sarah; and great-grandchildren, Briella and Sawyer. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Services and burial will be held at a later date. McHugh-Wilczek Funeral Home, 249 Centre St., Freeland, is in charge of arrangements.Standard-Speaker, July 30, 2022 |
