Obituary | Bert van Blargan, 72, of 152 First Street, Oneida, died at home Saturday morning from a heart attack. The deceased was a member of the St. James Reformed Church, Sheppton; Improved order of Redmen, Sheppton, and United Mine Workers of America, Local 1527. Surviving children are: Benjamin Zion's Grove; Lawrence, Francis, Mrs. Edith Clark, Mrs. John Hover and Albert, Oneida; Maurice, Phillipsburg, Pa.; Mrs. John Gallagher and Mrs. Charles Sherman, of Philadelphia, and Leo, of Tomhicken. Two brothers, Richard, of Sheppton and Raymond of Baltimore, Md. and a sister, Mrs. Gertrude DeFrein, of Park Place, also surviving in addition to 22 grandchildren. The funeral will be held from the residence Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Services at the St. James Reformed Church will be at 2:30.
