| Obituary | Mr. John W. VANBLARICUM, son of Samuel and Margret VANBLARICUM, died of consumption, near Rochester, July 10, 1885, aged 22 years, 10 months and 3 days, and was buried Saturday 11th at the Salem cemetery, followed by a large concourse of relatives and friends.
John was a true Christian young man and a consistent member of the church of the Evangelical Association for nearly six years. Bro. John had gained the affections and friendship of the many who knew him. The church and Sabbath school, as well as the family, sustain a great loss in his early departure, but the best of all is, that our loss is his Eternal Gain.Rochester Sentinel, July 15, 1885 |
