Obituary | Mary E. BRAMAN, wife of George BRAMAN, and daughter of the late Sam'l VanBLARICUM, died at the family home southwest of Rochester, Saturday, aged about forty-six years. She had been a terrible sufferer from cancer for several months and death was therefore a relief for her. Obituary | George BRAMAN, aged 77, passed away at his home south of this city, shortly after 7 o'clock Tuesday morning. Death resulted from a stroke of apoplexy. The deceased had been in ill health for the past few weeks but his condition was not regarded as serious. George, son of Mr. and Mrs. John W. BRAMAN, was born in this vicinity in the year of 1852 and had resided in Fulton county practically all of his life. He followed the occupation of farming until ill health forced his retirement. The deceased was a member of the Methodist church. Surviving with the widow are one son who lived in Joliet, Illinois and two brothers. Funeral services in charge of the Rev. HELTZEL of Fulton will be held at the Green Oak Church, Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be made in the Salem cemetery, northwest of Fulton.Rochester News-Sentinel, February 20, 1929 |
