Notes | In his contract of 1634 with Kiliaen van Rensselaer he was 33 years old. He sailed in May 1634 with his wife and three children on the ship "de Eendracht" ("The Unity") to the new world and settled in the new colony Rennsalaerswyck. He moved to Nieuw Amsterdam about 1648. Patented land in Bergen County in 1654 en moved there. Probably killed by Native Americans in 1655. |
