Obituary | Maynard C. Van Blaricom, the son of George VanBlaricom and Josephine Connors VanBlaricom, was born on September 1, 1915, in New Haven Township, Dunn County, Wisconsin. His entire live has been lived in Dunn County. On February 28, 1941, he was united in marriage to Erma Hillman. He was an active member of the Graytown Church of God, having held several positions in the church. He was interested in civic affairs, being a member of the American Legion and having served on the Connorsville School Board. Early Thursday morning, October 13, 1966, he died at Memorial Hospital in Menomonie after an illness of several months duration. Surviving him are his wife, Erma; three sons, Richard of Amery; Glenn of Eau Claire; and Randy at home; one daughter, Janelle, at home; one grandchild; four brothers, eight sisters, several other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one infant brother. Visitation was held Friday afternoon and evening at the DeCamp Funeral Home in Glenwood City and funeral services were held Saturday, October 15, 1966, at the Church of God in Graytown. Pastor Richard F. Dick was the officiating clergyman. Pallbearers were Steve Bradshaw, Don Burton, Paul Drinkman, Clifford Marlette, John Nelson and Harlan VanBlaricom. Interment was in Mound Cemetery at Downing, where the Connorsville American Legion conducted military services. |
